Shipping & Returns


All small orders (under 1kg) will be shipped using Royal Mail Signed for Parcel Post.

Larger orders (1kg upwards) are shipped via a Standard Parcel Courier Service.

Please note: Both of the above services are at least a 2 to 3 day delivery service and NOT a Next
Day Guaranteed Delivery… Next Day Delivery can be purchased on most items if required at an
extra cost...

Orders are fully insured by us for the cost of the item(s) being sent only whilst in transit.
Responsibility for ownership of the goods passes to purchaser once we have delivered the item.

Damage Goods.
Upon delivery. If you see visible damage to the packaging material and you believe the goods
may have been damaged in transit then you must notify the courier at delivery immediately. You
must also notify us within 24 hours of any further damage you discover. You must take action
to notify us as soon as you can. You can Telephone us or you can E-mail us Failure to do this
promptly may jeopardize any claim that may be made.

Sorry but due to Royal Mail requirements we are unable to make claims for lost orders until 14
working days have past from the dispatch date. We will do our upmost to resolve this problem for
you as soon as we possibly can.


In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, most goods can be returned for any reason
within 7 working days for a refund, (see exceptions) less carriage costs. Returned goods must
be in their original condition. If you decide that you do not wish to keep an item, you can return
it to us either yourself, or contact us and we will arrange collection. Note: The average cost for a
collection is £25.

Exceptions… For Health and Safety reasons, some products such as headphones,
microphones, earphones, in-ear monitoring products that have been used or where the hygienic
seal has been removed or broken cannot be returned unless faulty.

Returns and refunds cannot be made when an item has been specially ordered (bespoke orders)
except if, the item is faulty.
Goods cannot be returned as faulty where a specific defect in the product was brought to the
attention of the customer at the point of sale.
Refunds will not be made if the fault is due to misuse by the purchaser

Goods that have been damaged or altered from their original specification/condition by the
purchaser in any way cannot be returned for a refund.

All refunds can only be made by the method originally used to pay for the goods. Credit/debit card
refunds will be processed immediately, once we have received the goods back and inspected
them. It normally takes 3-5 working days for the funds to show on the customer's account.

Duty of Care

The customer has a duty to take reasonable care of the products while in their possession and
during the cancellation period to maintain them in the condition in which they were supplied.

If goods are damaged or use of the goods has gone beyond the right to reasonably inspect and
assess the goods, we reserve the right to seek recompense.

The customer has a duty to re-package any returned goods in such away as to avoid any damage
to the goods whilst in transit back to Crazy Train Music (ideally all the original packaging should
be used). If the original packaging is not used the goods must be packaged in such a way that
provides the same or equal protection as the original packaging. If this duty to pack the returned
goods in an appropriate manner is not met Crazy Train Music reserve the right to return the goods
to the customer and to seek recompense.

Please ensure that all goods returned have a copy of the original proof of purchase and state the
full reasons for return. Failure to do this may slow down any repair or refund.

Return all items via a Recorded Delivery Postal/Courier service so that you obtain a signature as
proof of delivery. Crazy Train Music will not be responsible for any packages mislaid or stolen in

Faulty Goods:

Within 14 days of the date of delivery, we will arrange for the collection and replacement of faulty
goods. If the item is outside of the 14 days from the date of delivery, you must return the item to
us where we will arrange from the return of faulty goods from us to the manufacturers for repair,
under the terms of manufacturer’s warranty. The purchaser invalidates this policy if the goods
have been altered in any way from their original condition or if the fault is due to misuse.

Spare Parts

Spare parts e.g. guitar pickups, switches, etc., are not eligible for returns once the item has been
fitted into a product unless the item(s) are faulty. Soldered terminals, thread damage, damage
to wax potting, the shortened of wiring etc., items which have been subjected to this will not be
accepted as returnable. Correct fitting is the responsibility of the purchaser. No refund will be
made if the product has been damaged due to incorrect fitting. Any spare parts product returned
as faulty will be returned to the manufacturers for their inspection before a refund can be made.
